HR OFFICER

FLYINGGROUP, the reference in private and business travel since 1995, is searching to expand their HR department.

We are looking for an HR Officer to support our HR team, Stéphanie, Vlora, and Koen, based in our headquarters in Antwerp, Belgium.

As HR Officer you will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Act as first-line contact for HR employee questions.
  • Build knowledge and closely monitor changes in employment legislation in Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, and France.
  • Support payroll processing in close collaboration with the payroll agency and with employee benefits providers.
  • Timesheet and absence management via our program Protime.
  • Assist with the purchase of fleet fuel cards and credit cards.
  • Overseeing our telecom platform.
  • Support the onboarding process of new hires as well as the off-boarding process, including documentation.
  • Work together with the HR team on the implementation of HR procedures and HR aspects.
  • Keeping HR follow-up files up to date.
  • Managing and triaging the HR inbox together with the team.
  • Supporting HR management on other HR activities.

The requested qualifications for this HR Officer position include:

  • Good proficiency in Dutch, English, and French.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR/Business/Administration/Legal.
  • A minimum of three years of working experience in a Human Resources generalist environment.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Knowledge of employment law regulations in Belgium. Knowledge of the Netherlands and France’s labor laws is a great asset.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Service-oriented and problem-solving ability.
  • Good analytical skills and accuracy.
  • Demonstrates discretion and ability to handle confidential and private information appropriately.
