FRONT DESK ATTENDANT

FLYINGGROUP, one of Europe's leading operators of business aircraft, has a job opportunity for a Front Desk Attendant at its Antwerp Airport Base.

The preferred candidate will be able to work a flexible schedule for our operation that is open for business 365 days per year.

We are looking for a professional colleague with excellent communication skills and an eye for detail.

Job duties include:

  • Being a support in the administrative tasks of the Handling of visiting aircraft.
  • ​Answering telephone calls, screen and direct calls.
  • Meet and greet our guests and provide an excellent customer experience.
  • Accompany guests to the aircraft.
  • Direct persons to the correct destination in the building.
  • Build and maintain customer relationships via phone, email and personal interaction.
  • Tidy and maintain the reception area and lounge
  • Organize meetings and schedule appointments.

Qualifications include but not limited to:

  • Professional appearance with a friendly, accommodating expression.
  • Impeccable follow-through with the ability to multi-task and solve complex problems without assistance.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Well-developed organization & planning skills
  • Critical decision-making skills.
  • Excellent phone etiquette and listening performance.
  • Good language skills are required (NL-EN)
  • Having good computer knowledge: Office
  • Demonstrated dependability and punctuality habits.
  • Previous aviation experience is helpful.

Your profile

The candidate should be in the possession of a driving license and live within a reasonable driving distance from Antwerp Airport.

Functieomschrijving:

  • Met een truck neem je de brandstofbevoorrading van alle vertrekkende vliegtuigen voor jouw rekening, van klein tot groot.
  • Je bent verantwoordelijk voor de kwaliteit van het geleverde product, het uitvoeren van testen behoort tot je dagelijkse activiteit.
  • In de luchtvaart staat veiligheid centraal. Correcte administratie en afhandeling van de brandstofleveringen is een must.
  • Er wordt in shiften gewerkt en in het weekend. De luchtvaart staat immers nooit stil.

Eigenschappen:

  • Flexibiliteit is een belangrijke eigenschap.
  • Je kan zelfstandig werken en goed de inhoud van jouw shift organiseren.
  • Je kan omgaan met klanten in een vreemde taal, basiskennis Engels is hiervoor vereist.
  • Je bent doordrongen van het veiligheidsbesef. Je bestuurt namelijk een truck net naast de vliegtuigen.
  • Correct kunnen omgaan met tijdsdruk.
  • Door het gewicht van de slangen en de koppeling is een goede fysieke conditie een must.
  • Indien je een rijbewijs C hebt, een bewijs van vakbekwaamheid en een ADR tank kwalificatie heb je reeds een goede startpositie!

The Junior Flight Care Agent is a member of the Operational Control Centre Team. The main OCC activities are the planning and preparation of FLYINGGROUP’s flights. The OCC supports our global operations and our business is rapidly growing. We are expanding our worldwide activity and are looking for Junior Flight Care Agents.

Your goal

You will be joining our OCC Flight Care Department who always strives to make the most informed decisions and provide top-quality service to our clients, making our company stand out from the rest.

Your duties and responsibilities

The planning and preparation of all FLYINGGROUP’s flights, including VIP catering arrangements, Customer transportation, keep PAX details and formalities up to date and perform detailed feasibility checks, take appropriate action to tackle any irregularity. You provide good support to the Senior Flight Care Agent in completing other tasks as assigned.

Your profile

The Flight Care Agent is highly Customer minded and pays full attention to the particulars of each Customer.

Good communication skills, meaning a good (spoken and written) knowledge of Dutch, French and English.

You are well organized, stress-resistant, and able to multitask while maintaining a calm composure and work with continuously changing flight schedules.

You are highly self-motivated with a proactive approach and like to work in a team.

You have good geographical knowledge.

You have good computer knowledge: Word, Excel.

Experience in aviation is a must, experience in business aviation is a plus

Have a good base of aviation terminology and IATA and ICAO codes.

You are flexible, willing to work in shifts and during weekends.

Local resident is preferable.

Your Mission

As Licensed Certifying Staff, you will play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of airworthiness for our fleet of premium business jets. Working within an EASA PART-145 organization, you’ll take ownership of maintenance activities and lead projects that keep our aircraft flying safely and efficiently.

What You’ll Do

  • Perform line and base maintenance in full compliance with PART-145 regulations
  • Lead and coordinate maintenance projects on high-value business jets
  • Supervise and assess tasks performed by unlicensed mechanics
  • Ensure correct procedures and manuals are applied during maintenance
  • Verify that all tasks are properly executed and documented according to PART-145 standards
  • Identify and report safety and security risks proactively
  • Mentor and coach apprentices, sharing your expertise

What We’re Looking For

  • EASA PART-66 AML B1 license without limitations and at least one active type rating
  • Dual qualification (B1 + B2) is a strong advantage
  • Type ratings for Dassault Falcon, Cessna Citation, Pilatus PC-24, or Bombardier Global are a big plus
  • Passion for aviation and commitment to excellence
  • Strong team player with great organizational skills
  • Flexible and adaptable to shift work (between 06:00 and 22:00)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with digital tools
  • Eligible to live and work in Belgium (FLYINGGROUP does not provide relocation assistance)
