JUNIOR COMMERCIAL EXECUTIVE

FLYINGGROUP, one of Europe's leading business jet operators, is looking for a Junior Commercial Executive at the main office in Antwerp.

The Junior Commercial Executive is a member of FLYINGGROUP’s commercial team, in particular, the B2B Charter Sales team. She/He will work under the supervision of the Sales Director. The B2B Charter Sales team has the joint objective of organizing and selling charter missions on the designated charter fleet to professional clients, brokers and other operators.

Tasks:

  • Handle all incoming charter requests whether by phone, email, Avinode or any other channel.
  • Assess if the request may result in a commercial opportunity in respect of the availability of the fleet, expectations of FLYINGGROUP and the aircraft owners, and provide quotes.
  • Follow-up interesting opportunities that were quoted.
  • Coordinate with other departments to assess the feasibility of confirmed quotes in detail. Mitigate issues where required.
  • Issue the charter agreement (contract) and look after the correct execution by all involved parties.
  • Follow-up on the invoicing and payment terms.
  • Monitor the preparation and execution of the charter missions.
  • Handle changes and rescheduling if this impacts the price, revenue, or owner’s approval conditions.
  • Manage the administration and profitability of each sold mission.
  • Respect the agreements, procedures and financial expectations of the owners.
  • Adhere to the guidelines and principles outlined in the Charter Sales Procedure Manual.
  • Represent FLYINGGROUP with the highest standards – Participate in network events and be a proud ambassador of the FLYINGGROUP brands and products.
  • Protect the interests of FLYINGGROUP, its partners and its aircraft owners.
  • Respect the agreements, procedures and financial expectations of the owners.
  • Participate in the roster and cover early, late and weekend shifts.

Secondary tasks may be requested such as:

  • Prospection and market research.
  • Searching and contracting other operators for sub charter assignments.
  • Reporting and presentation tasks.

Profile:

  • You have experience in tourism and/or (business) aviation, preferably in a commercial role.
  • Good communication skills (written and spoken) in English are a must. Knowledge of other European languages is an advantage.

Your goal

The main task consists of planning, preparing and monitoring all FLYINGGROUP’s worldwide flights, taking into account the Customer’s needs, the chosen destination and route, the most suitable aircraft available, the crew on hand, etc.

Your tasks

The planning and preparation of all FLYINGGROUP’s flights, and perform detailed operational calculations.

  • Worldwide flight planning by evaluating NOTAMS, weather, route, performance and weight & balance. 
  • Perform feasibility checks and detailed operational calculations.
  • Arranging ground handling, slots, PPR, fuel. Obtaining permits, and traffic rights.
  • Customs formalities.
  • Crew planning, flight duty and rest limitations.
  • Coordination with crew.
  • Flight Watch. The monitoring of the actual flights and take appropriate action to tackle any irregularity.
  • Inhouse training.

Your profile

  • You are highly customer minded and pay full attention to the particulars of each Customer.

Your goal

The goal of the Airworthiness Executive is to make sure, together with the team, that all aircraft of the FlyingGroup fleet are maintained in an airworthy condition at all times and to act as a communication point between all concerned parties (maintenance suppliers, operations, manufactures, authorities).

Your tasks

You will work in a continuing airworthiness environment on new, high value business jets. As part of the airworthiness department, you will be a member of a team that offers high quality work in accordance with EASA regulations.

He/She is responsible for:

Follow-up of the maintenance program of a part of the Flying Service aircraft fleet; Preparing the maintenance planning for the scheduled maintenance; Follow-up and coordination of unscheduled maintenance

Communication to and from the manufacturer with regards to modifications

Technical follow-up for defect rectification, line and base maintenance

To ensure that all maintenance is done in accordance with the approved maintenance program

To ensure that any operational directives, airworthiness directives and any other continued airworthiness requirement made mandatory by the national civil aviation authority and/or EASA are accomplished

To ensure accomplishment of modifications in accordance with an approved standard

Your profile

– In de luchtvaart staat veiligheid centraal. Correcte administratie en afhandeling van de brandstofleveringen is een must.

– Er wordt in shiften gewerkt en in het weekend. De luchtvaart staat immers nooit stil.
